#TeamWalsh rocked Signature Collection!

Women For Walsh

But it’s not too late for you to join our team!

In every ward and every neighborhood, our volunteers laced up their sneakers, downed a cup of coffee, and took to the streets for Mayor Walsh.

Our first shift volunteers in South Boston stopped for a picture before fanning out across the neighborhood.
The women of Allston-Brighton were strategizing first thing in the morning!

Excitement began the weekend before signatures were even collected, as volunteers began to prepare for the biggest day of the campaign so far!

And when the day finally arrived, our 500+ volunteers couldn’t help but share their excitement and success online!

And once school let out, even kids got involved to help make a difference:

#TeamWalsh even recruited some four-legged friends to help out

And then Mayor Walsh got involved and started collecting signatures!

As afternoon turned to evening, our volunteers were still making it happen!

By the end of the day, #TeamWalsh collected 12,317 signatures — that’s 9,317 more than the required amount!

And we did it all in less than 10 hours!

And we’re not done!

We’re collecting signatures every day between now and the May 23rd deadline — because this is about more than just getting on the ballot. This is about talking to every Bostonian about what they care about, and hearing how they want to see their city move forward.

But we can’t do that without your help. Visit MartyWalsh.org/Volunteer and sign up to help us build a better Boston for everyone!
